Danaus plexippus can be found throughout North America with migrating populations flying to Mexico during the winter months. With a maximum wingspan of 4.9 inches, male Monarchs can be identified by the scent pouches located in the center of both hindwings.

Caterpillars feed on a variety of milkweed species, such as Native Milkweed, Tropical Milkweed, Giant Milkweed, and Balloon Plant Milkweed(available in our Plant Shop).
