Also known as coastal allamanda it’s a Florida native vine. It’s prized for its excellent heat tolerance and long-season bloom — as well as the fact that allamanda grows well in both containers and landscapes. Its stems grow extensively with 20 to 30 foot runners. It blooms year-round with peak season from spring to summer. Full sun.

Mandevilla produces pink flowers and most have a fragrance, although it is more pronounced in M. laxa.
