The quintessential butterfly garden plant. This is the host plant to the classic Monarch butterfly, but it also hosts its “lookalikes” the Queen and the Soldier butterflies. A resilient species of milkweed; it’s irresistible to these butterflies and will draw them in from miles away! Full sun preferred; sure to give you lots of little blooms throughout the year. Can grow up to 3 ft. tall. Be sure to cut back in the fall to control the monarch population.
