This plant is not only unique because it’s the only native cycad to North America, it’s also the host plant to an endangered Florida butterfly, the Atala hairstreak. Plant this in sun or shade- it’s not too picky! Also moderately salt water tolerant- it can be incorporated into a coastal landscape. Will stay relatively low to the ground and shrub-like. Sold in a 3 gallon pot.
