Butterfly World Suspension Bridge established March 28, 1996.
This bridge is a replica of one spanning the Toachi River, near the Tinalandia Lodge in Western Ecuador, many years ago. Since 1986, Butterfly World founder, Ron Boender, has been traveling to this site to study rainforest butterflies. The Tinalandia Bridge is his effort to bring a bit of the adventure he experiences there, to Butterfly World.
