Giant Swallowtail Pupa
$12.00
Papilio cresphontes has a wide distribution ranging from North to South America. One of the largest butterflies in North America, they have an average wingspan of 5-6 inches and can be found throughout the state of Florida. Giant Swallowtails can be differentiated from their look-alikes, the Schaus, and Bahamian Swallowtails, by the single yellow dot found in the center of the spoon-shaped tail.
Giant Swallowtails will lay their eggs on a variety of plants from the Citrus family, such as Wild Lime (available in our Plant Shop).
