Since its doors first opened in the Spring of 1988, Butterfly World has introduced hundreds of thousands of visitors to the wonders of Lepidoptera and the natural world around us all. Butterfly World is the largest butterfly facility in the world today.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS

Those who wish to visit Butterfly World should look for it in Tradewinds Park, ten miles to the north of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It may be easily reached via the Florida Turnpike or Interstate I-95, at its address of 3600 W. Sample Road, Coconut Creek, Florida 33073. Simply exit at Sample Road and head west. Enter into Tradewinds Park on the south side of Sample Road, only a quarter of a mile west of the Florida Turnpike. Our butterfly facility is inside the park, straight ahead about a third of a mile.

You can also reach Butterfly World from the Sawgrass Expressway, using the Lyons Road exit and driving south to Sample Road. Head east from there and you will see Tradewinds Park on the south side of the road.

All lunch orders must be finalized and pre paid two days prior to field trip date.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

The Birthday Child receives FREE admission. There is a minimum of 15 paying children.
Parties are to be scheduled on Saturdays only, starting between 9:00-10:00am.
